SARAH PLOWMAN
TABLE GROUPS DIRECTOR
Sarah loves cities and seeks to be a part of bringing restoration to the broken places within them. She works for the State of Iowa Economic Development Authority and is intentional about putting down roots in her community: she serves on her neighborhood association board, is a known regular at her fav coffee shop, gets to know her neighbors, and of course is involved in a Table Group!
Sarah has a BA in Spanish and Linguistics from Central College in Pella, Iowa, as well as a MS in Urban and Regional Policy from Northeastern University in Boston. Originally from Minnesota, she’s lived in Iowa long enough to claim them both, and has also left part of her heart in Boston, too.
Sarah loves rhythms and seasons, marking milestones, connecting with friends and family, and keeping up with her group of nieces and nephews - both the official ones and the “framily” variety. She often spends her time baking, reading, gardening, or attending classes at the Y. Oh, and board games are her love language.
