JESSICA FLINKMAN

POETICE MISSIONARY PARTNER

Jessica was born in Kansas where she lived until her family relocated to Illinois. Being the youngest of six children (five older brothers) prepared her for a life of adventure. Having a dad as a pastor prepared her for living a life sold out for Christ. From a young age, Jessica felt a tug to serve God in any way she could, embracing the transience that a missional life can bring and dreaming of opportunities to fight for God's Kingdom.

Jessica has a BS in Elementary Education from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. In 2018, she had an opportunity to teach English in China as a missionary. She returned to the United States where she earned her Masters in TESOL and then taught English to both adults and children in various capacities for three years. After taking a short term trip to Choma, Zambia with Poetice through Table Church in July 2023, Jessica felt a tug on her heart to pursue Christ with the missions organization there. She is currently serving as a Lead Teacher for the Lower Primary grade and a worship team member. Jessica has a passion for health/food, all things music, and making children and all people feel seen as Jesus would see them.

LIFE THEME: Undignified for Christ.
